Autumn Colors of Shenandoah

Whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall the Shenandoah National Park is the destination for outdoor activities. In autumn, the trees of Shenandoah explode with brilliant colors for all motorists, bikers and hikers to enjoy.


Climbing Skyline Drive starting at 1,390 feet in elevation.



Stopping at one of the 75 scenic overlooks to take in the view of the valley.


Cruising along the serpentine road at 35 miles per hour.


Taking in all the brilliant foliage.



Changing tree lines at 2,665 feet.



Gimlet Ridge Overlook.



Peaking at 3,474 feet. Snow!
