Laotian American Students Survey

Campus Connectedness, Ethnic identity, Other-group Orientation and College Persistence Attitudes Among Laotian American College Students

Thank you for participating in this study, Campus Connectedness, Ethnic identity, Other-group Orientation and College Persistence Attitudes Among Laotian American College Students. The purpose of this study is to take a closer look at the influence that one’s sense of belonging on campus will have on two relationships: 1) how one feels about his/her ethnicity and his/ her attitude towards continuing at the university and 2) her/his openness to working with members of other ethnic groups and her/his attitudes about continuing at the university. This study will involve at least 60 Internet users, aged eighteen or older. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Do not add your name or other identifying data to the survey.

Please note the following characteristics of this study:

-your participation is voluntary;
-your identity will remain anonymous;
-the IP address of your computer will not be recorded;
-you can elect to withdraw at any time without penalty;
-there are no positive or negative benefits from responding to this survey;
-there is no compensation;
-the survey will be used for research;
-the data obtained from the survey may be published.
